Overview

Inazuma Wallet is a self-custodial browser extension for the Inazuma Core Layer 1 blockchain. This policy explains what data the extension handles, where it lives, and who can access it.

Data we store

  • Encrypted private keys. Your wallet secret is encrypted with AES-GCM and stored only in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers.
  • Public address & transaction history. Your public address and on-chain history are read from the Inazuma public blockchain via our RPC endpoint (inazuma.network). This is public ledger data, not personal information we collect.
  • User preferences. Settings such as theme or display options are stored locally in extension storage.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, browsing history, keystrokes, clipboard content, or any personally identifiable information. We do not use trackers, analytics, or third-party advertising scripts.

Network access

The extension communicates only with the Inazuma Core RPC endpoint at https://rpc.inazuma.network/ to query balances, broadcast signed transactions, and read chain state. Every network request is either a read-only blockchain query or a user-initiated, signed transaction.

Remote code

The extension contains no remote code. All JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and assets are bundled inside the extension package and loaded from chrome-extension:// origins. No external scripts are fetched or evaluated at runtime.

Data retention & deletion

Wallet data remains on your device until you remove the extension or clear its storage. Because we do not hold your keys, losing your backup phrase or inazkey1 export means we cannot recover your wallet. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the extension.

Third parties

We do not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. We do not use your data for creditworthiness, lending, or advertising purposes.
